The Pacific Northwest Canola Association is hosting a canola workshop January 25th, at the University Inn in Moscow, Idaho.
We've got a great lineup of speakers from the PNW and other canola production regions in the U.S. and Canada to provide a quality day of learning and networking about all things canola. You'll hear from canola growers, industry reps, and university experts about winter and spring canola stand establishment, weed control strategies, fertilizer management, field diagnostics, and more. We're also looking forward to a presentation about canola marketing dynamics by Chuck Penner of LeftField Commodity Research, agronomist Justine Cornelsen (BrettYoung Seeds) sharing her disease expertise, and updates from University of Idaho and Kansas State University canola breeding programs.
Pesticide CEU's have been received from ID, MT and OR, and requested from WA. CCA credits have been approved.
A guest room block and special rates are being held at the Best Western Plus University Inn.
